Total power deficit estimation for isolated power system network using H∞ norm method

An isolated electrical network with an independent local distributed generator is very sensitive towards the contingencies between load demand and supply. Although system has less complexity in term of structure, its stability condition crucial due to stand-alone operating condition. Hence, monitor network, total power deficit only variable that can be estimated. This study proposed utilize filtering problem design estimator estimate deficiency. For verification, was tested under two cases which are nominal case parameter uncertainty case. In case, parameters assumed known while contaminated uncertain where admissible value laying a given polytope. With complying linear matrix inequality (LMI) constraint, main objective function norm guaranteed minimum upper bound. The results show dynamical behaviors designed successfully trace actual signal at steady state minimal estimation error.
